"We know more about the movement of celestial bodies than about the ground beneath our feet" Leonardo da Vinci
Consider that only a minimal percentage of soil microorganism species have been identified.
Yet our life depends on those microorganisms.
We are often led to not consider real what is invisible to the eyes, but without disturbing the sacredness of life and man, just think that a microscopic virus, invisible to our eyes has shown us that its existence can have a very impact on the life of man. We should absolutely reconsider our way of observing the world and life and open ourselves to other points of view, which also contemplate the invisible. Because it is precisely underground, in the world of the invisible that life is born and thrives.
The first 30 cm of soil contains all of the Earth's biodiversity

Mushrooms, spores, microorganisms, roots, are a world in constant symbiosis and relationship. Instead we are still stuck to the old Darwinian conceptions. Evolution cannot happen through competition but also and above all through cooperation and brotherhood. And this is true both in the macro and microcosm, there is no more holistic concept than this!
Under our feet there is a perfect world that we could take inspiration from in all our human actions, but we do not consider it, indeed we impoverish it, without considering that the soil is not a renewable resource, or rather, not if we consider our concept of time. The soil that we have destroyed could take thousands of years to renew itself. Do you know how much life there is in a teaspoon of soil?
A teaspoon of soil contains more living microorganisms than there are people in the world!
We should feel tiny compared to all this, the same feeling we feel when we look at the celestial mantle, we should feel it when our feet move on the earth. And we speak the same language as the soil, without knowing it we function in a very similar way.
If we could look with different eyes, we could see in this, a perfect golden code, a resonance of grace and harmony, which if understood, would allow us to live in balance with ourselves and the cosmos.
Our microbiota is not that different from the humus of the soil, billions of microorganisms contribute to our well-being, and like the soil, they need to be considered, respected, cared for.
And look also at this incredible additional resonance: the impoverishment and erosion of the soil, the aggressive treatments of intensive agriculture, the pollution of the air and of the groundwater have led to a serious loss of the micro and macro nutrients of the soil, which are strongly linked to the life of symbiotic microorganisms. What does all this mean?
This means that already today soils lacking in micro and macro nutrients are not able to produce food that can contain the nutrients necessary for human health!
More than two billion people worldwide suffer from micronutrient deficiencies.
Our well-being and that of the soil are interdependent, the billions of microorganisms to which we owe our life, which are outside and inside us, are one of the greatest realities and certainties of life, even if we cannot see them, even if we do not know them.
Inside and outside of us there is a harmonious perfection that we try in every way to break, when it would be enough to resonate with it to learn to feel viscerally connected to the earth and the soil.
Thousands of years ago, man felt the need to understand the stars to know the mysteries of life. Today, with the knowledge we have acquired, perhaps we should simply bow to the earth that supports us.
